Introduction
Perspectives from history are essential to understanding and responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. What follows is a selection of resources by faculty and students in Yale’s Program in the History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health. Calling into question the claim that the present crisis is unprecedented, their expertise helps us to make sense of how we got here and to envision new ways forward.
