Kristine is a PhD student working on the history of design and technology, with an interest in designed simulations of the natural world. She earned a Master in Architecture degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a BA with Highest Honors in Art History+Practice and History from Williams College. With the support of a Fulbright scholarship, she has also studied architecture and urban design at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway.
Before coming to Yale, Kristine worked as an architectural and visual designer with firms including Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter, IDEO, 2x4, ESI Design, Kalos Eidos, and SITU Studio. She continues to practice as an exhibition designer with projects in New York and Philadelphia, and she serves as an Innovation Advisor at the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale.
