The Poorvu center for Teaching and Learning has awarded Ivano Dal Prete a Rosenkranz Grant for Pedagogical Advancement for the year 2019-2020. Rosenkranz Awards support the use of digital technologies that enhance student learning, in particular by promoting effective student engagement in the Classroom. Ivano Dal Prete’s project, entitled Ancient Earths through Digital Eyes, builds on his recent scholarship to develop digital models of medieval and early modern theories of geological and climatic change. Available on a dedicated website, animations and learning tools will support a range of courses in History of Science, History of Geology and Environmental Humanities.
