Ashanti Shih, PhD ‘19 awarded the The W. Turrentine Jackson (Dissertation) Award for her dissertation  “Invasive Ecologies: Science and Settler Colonialism in Twentieth-Century Hawai’i.”

The W. Turrentine Jackson (Dissertation) Award is awarded to the author of the most outstanding dissertation on any aspect of the history of the American West in the twentieth century.
